Wolf Belt (Mohawk National Belt)
This belt represents a friendship treaty. The purple stripes represent seven groups of Irogouis and Algonquin people. The two figures denote friendly relations between the French and the native people. The white background indicates peace. The animal figures represent the wolf clan which guards the friendship and peace.
